At Aspley we ran over 2 days a range of activities promoting the shortlisted books. In each session we offered about 10 different activities and classes were asked to book in for their choice of activity and time. My aides and I prepared enough materials for each class for those choices and placed the equipment out. As each class came in the materials were distributed and teachers were given an instruction sheet and some examples were on display so all would know what to do.
The activities were mostly my own devising with a couple from the Zart art Book Week Book. Those activities devised by myself are included here with accompanying templates and photographs.
There are one or two more items to add as yet. The Teddy Template was found online. This was a class activity as was the Animal Mural for "For all creatures"

We made a mural for "For all Creatures" each Prep class did a different animal - we used non-fiction to give us ideas, and then applied a bit of 'artistic licence"
